...I just wanted to post this I will have a better comment soon. The mediums used were illustration board, ballpoint pen, and rose art colored pencils.

wow...this is amazing! so intricately detailed and everything...I love the colors. the dark background is a wonderful thing to make the rest of the colors pop... ;) ...I also love the curls at the ends of the hair and just the overall mood of the piece!!

**I paint on Illustration board, but never drew on it...this looks very nice on it, SUPERB JOB!!! :D

'Candy goth'? Interesting and I love the decorations for the day of the dead, the sugar skulls and all of the random colors and glitter. Normally things like that are not at all my style but something about the way its done works.

Whoa...
Okay, first the technical stuff. I concur with the above statements of the bright colors, very Carnivale/Dia de los Muertos. Rainbow/Candy Goth works, too. Hell, half the club kids in Louisville are Candy Goth. And the detail, oh smeg, sis, the detail. The label on the bottle, translucency of the fey's wings, the hair and the trippy-ass framing vines, everything down to the detail on the stem of the glass.
Now the visceral response: HOLY CRAP! I mean, seriously, wow. I'm not sure if I should askd DS to take your art stuff from you when you're that sick, or try to encourage more virulent plague in your general area and stock you up with pencils and stuff. Either way, I like it LOTS.
